We greet you in the name of Christ inviting you to browse our website and to contact us if you have any questions. Our historic presbytery was organized in 1738 and has been a vibrant member of the Presbyterian family for more than two centuries with the oldest of our organized churches being founded in 1688. The forty one churches that make up our presbytery are located in urban, suburban, and rural areas and each congregation is involved in mission and ministry throughout their communities, our state, and world.
We affirm in our Corporate Mission That:
God calls us to be a joyful discerning community of faith engaged in the transforming ministry of Jesus Christ in the world.
In our Vision we strive to be:
An exciting learning community of congregations and other ministries keeping alive and telling the stories of our faith discerning and acting upon our spiritual gifts seeking and celebrating diversity with
A contagious sense of the Holy Spirit working in and through individuals, congregations, communities and society

the Presbytery of New Brunswick
We have
been disappointed to see portions of our August 20, 2010 report regarding the
Ewing Presbyterian Church cited selectively and out of context to criticize the
Rev. Elizabeth Vandegrift unfairly. In this crucial time in the life of the
Ewing congregation, our primary concern is for the peace and harmony of the
church so that it might continue its mission in the Ewing community.
