The Peacemaking Offering is one of four special offerings designated by the GA to support peacemaking initiatives and peace education throughout the church.  It is recommended that 25 % of each congregation's offering should be retained by the congregation.  The remaining 75% should be sent to the Presbytery Office, where it is split as follows:  25% to the Presbytery and 50% to GA through the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.

 

The Pentecost Offering provides a direct way to meet the needs of children at risk, youth and young adults.  Congregations are encouraged to retain 40% of the offering to support ministry with children at risk in their communities.  The remaining 60% should be sent to the Presbytery Office, where it is forwarded to GA.  The money is used for leadership development opportunities for Presbyterian youth and young adults and supports children in at-risk programs at the national level. 

 

The IRS has stated that 2010 mileage reimbursement is 50 cents per mile.
